Promote, facilitate and stimulate the development of intensive care physicians in Uruguay, with the aim of achieving a highly trained professional in technical, human and ethical aspects, capable of working as a team, with the aim of achieving the highest quality of focused care in the patient, his family and the members of the health team.
Ensure the continuous improvement of working conditions, which allow a correct exercise of the specialty in all its aspects, breaking down the barriers that threaten the development and well-being of the professional.

Mejoramos la calidad de los cuidados críticos, la capacitación y acceso al conocimiento en el Uruguay y para eso abogamos en forma independiente por la infancia y nuestra comunidad.

- SUNPI es una organización independiente que tiene la vocación de mejorar la salud, atención y condiciones para el tratamiento intensivo de pacientes y acompañamiento de familiares para eso habla a la sociedad con confianza y autoridad técnica.
- Para eso articula a especialistas e instituciones facilitando compartir su conocimiento y reflexionar de forma de contribuir con mejores prácticas y políticas de atención, formación, investigación y desarrollo asistencial.
- Hablamos con autoridad y confianza sobre la infancia y adolescencia en diálogo con las familias para abatir las inequidades y favorecer la diversidad, inclusión y sustentabilidad socioambiental.
